Psykosomatik og eksistentiel kropsterapi

Jens Olesen, fysioterapeut, klinisk vejleder og specialist i rehabilitering samt master i professionsuddannelse, har indsendt sin artikel "Psykosomatik og eksistentiel kropsterapi - mod et reelt helhedsorienteret krops- og menneskesyn" til offentliggørelse på hjemmesiden her. 
 
Artiklen gennemgår kritisk den nordiske psykosomatiske tradition og foreslår nye veje. Den har potentialet til at lade den psykiatriske og psykosomatiske fysioterapeut se sin praksis i et nyt lys og måske med nye muligheder. For at læse artiklen i PDF-format, klik her.
 
Det skal også tilføjes, at Jens har skrevet speciale på Danmarks Pædagogiske Universitet, DPU, og har i kraft af dette kandidat niveau i vidensskabsteori indenfor sundhedsområdet.
 
Abstract:
This article presents an existential bodily view including the whole human being and its interaction with the world and other human beings. It argues that the bodily psychosomatic tradition from Freud to Reich and Lowen and also Bunkan more or less are stuck in an idealistic tradition where the body is seen as a tool for the superior cognitive structures in the brain.
The author presents thinkers as Buber, Merleau-Ponty and Boss in order to demonstrate that there are other and perhaps more fruitfull ways of looking at the client-therapist relation. Buber, Merleau-Ponty and Boss have a more "full" and whole - in the essence of the word hole - understanding of the body's interaction with the world and other human beings. The article argues that the therapist without the ability and tools to establish a relationwith the client, in tje client's and the therapist's shared "common time and presence" will be unable to establish true dialogue and therefore also unable to achieve compliance.
